What is Mock Trial? We're glad you asked! Georgia Tech Mock Trial provides an opportunity for students to learn about the American legal system. Students play both attorneys and witnesses on all sides of the case, develop case theories and witness characters, and handle rules of evidence arguments.
GTMT fields competitive teams and participates in simulated trials created by the American Mock Trial Association. We travel around the country to compete in tournaments against other universities. We even host our own tournament, the Ramblin' Wreck Invitational! Mock Trial is not just for pre-law students; it's for anyone looking to gain a meaningful experience in college. If you love to argue, have any experience in public speaking (debate, Model UN, etc.), or are just looking for a good time, then Georgia Tech Mock Trial could be for you! |
